The Christmas season is a time to enjoy and reflect. It is a time for families and friendships, for memories and new memories to be created. It is a time when children rejoice at the excitement of receiving presents that may reflect what they had been dreaming for. I remember when I was a child, Christmas was an exciting time, full of anticipation, family, friends, food, singing, laughing and the excitement of exploring what the day brings. We live in an environment now where the spirit of Christmas is being dominated by commercial aspects of sales and bargains and commercial expectations. This Christmas season, lets enjoy the value of time, family and friendships, memories of joy and creating new memories. Take time to be mindful, grateful and be in the moment to enjoy your time and fill your life with joy and share in the happiness and love.
In mathematical terms: Two shapes need to be the same size to be congruent.
When we need to resize one shape to make it the same as the other, the shapes are Similar.
Congruent, basically means "equal". it comes from Latin congruere, "to agree". So the shapes "agree"
In NLP or wellness terms, Congruence is the state achieved by coming together, the state of agreement. Congruence is Transformation, being in congruence is similar to being in mindful meditation. Congruence is characterized by an absence of “modal operators.” There are no desires, or possibilities, past or future intruding into what you are doing at the moment. You are focused on the present moment, excluding everything else. Congruence is a delightful state, because there is no conflict between alternate desires or opportunities, no decisions to be made, no alternatives to be considered, nothing else to be done. Congruent is living in the present in the moment being in one with oneself, being in one with the universe. Congruence is Mindfulness in meditation.
This Christmas, be in Congruence, enjoy the festive season, have fun, be good to your loved ones, be good to yourself and take the time to spend time for yourself to be in Congruence and mindfulness.
Merry Christmas to all.
The Physiology of NLP.
NLP – Neuro Linguistic Programming is the study of subjective human experiences. It is the language of the mind and body, patterns of thinking and behaviour. It is the Psychology & Physiology of success.
We are told about the law of attraction and to use affirmations to reinforce what we want to achieve in terms of we already have it to bring it to reality, but simply repeating an affirmation mechanically does not make it happen, you need to put your whole body, your whole Physiology into it, this needs to be a completely involved process of the mind and body one system. I call it the Physiology of NLP, use the head, heart, body and spirit. When we engage the whole body in a process, we are engaging all the aspects of self. Whereas when we keep using only verbal affirmations we are using only the head. We need to use our whole system, our whole body, our whole Physiology. We always learn with our whole body and experiences, what we learn from live experiences will last in the heart longer, call it the heart science, what we learn through our experience and our whole body, stays with us and opens doors to explore the potentials.
Think about it and try it out, see how it can help you and how you can help yourself to make your dreams a reality. Get what you want. You have the power to make your life what you want it to be.
We communicate mostly in a nonverbal format, 55% is body language, 38% is voice tone and only 7% are the words we use. Our nonverbals govern how other people think and feel about us, our nonverbals also govern how we think and feel about ourselves. “Presences” is a key fact, your presences in any situation will drive the direction of the outcome.
We live in a world that is moving at a fast pace, change is constant and our minds and bodies need to adapt to the moving environment, we need to understand that our mind and body are one system. Our minds change our bodies and our bodies change our mind. Think about this, how do you apply this and how can it help you move forward in your change process.
